Wheat asparagus is an emblematic product of our production, grown in our municipality, in the same region where Mercajara has its roots. But we would like to share here an experience, and that is that this crop is recent, just ten years ago. It was thanks to the vision of friends and trusted colleagues that we realized the potential of our land for this particular crop.
With his advice we got down to work and the results are exceeding all our expectations. Today we produce around 1000 tons per season. With thick and extra thick calibers that are a real delight, our wild asparagus have a firm texture and a fresh flavor that have made them a favorite of our customers.
